The 2008 London Restaurant Awards, sponsored by aAIM, one of Europe’s fastest growing commercial property investment companies will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 01 September and will be hosted by one of the UK’s most popular comics, Jack Dee. 

This year’s judging panel features some of the UK’s most respected and well-known critics, including Charles Campion (Evening Standard), Giles Coren (The Times), Terry Durack (The Independent), Tracey Macleod (The Independent on Sunday), Fay Maschler (Evening Standard), Matthew Norman (The Guardian) and Jay Rayner.  Mark Hix, of Hix Oyster and Chop House is confirmed to produce a specially created menu for the awards to match a selection of fine South African wines produced by wine sponsor Jordan Wine Estate.
